Bupa Tasman Care Home Kitchen
Bupa Tasman, as with all Bupa’s new state of the art care facilities, is purpose built to the highest standards and has been planned using the latest innovations in international rest home/care design.
Operating with a capacity of 72 resthome or hospital beds plus a large number of serviced apartments Tasman is a multi-story facility built on a challenging site in the heart of Henderson in Auckland’s western suburbs.
THE PROJECT
Hostservice was employed by Bupa to design a kitchen for the new Henderson site - with unique constraints including a limited floor area, the requirement for the kitchen to be on the ground floor/basement level and for all meals to be delivered to remote dining rooms.
Although we had the challenge of working on a very tight construction schedule and with very difficult site access, the job was managed with little to no hassles for the customer and was completed on time and within the budget.
From our perspective we are honored for the part were able to play in the project - leaving our customer with a brilliant kitchen that the staff love to work in.
